Magnanni

Magnanni's story began in 1954 in Almansa, in south-eastern Spain, where the Blanco family opened their first shoe factory. Seven decades on, the business remains family-owned and family-run, with three generations involved in every stage of the process, from design through to delivery. Almansa is still home to the family, the original factory and the showroom where it all began.

At the heart of every Magnanni shoe is the artistry of the human hand. Skilled artisans inspect each leather for imperfections before it is cut, and many styles are finished with intricate hand-stitching, such as the double-needle threading that joins sole to upper on the brand's Artesano designs. Most distinctive of all are Magnanni's signature hand-painted patinas, built up layer by layer to create remarkable depth and dimension, giving each pair a character all its own.

Today Magnanni's shoes are crafted in both Spain and Portugal, where a state-of-the-art factory in Pigeiros brings together tradition and innovation. By pairing classic silhouettes with contemporary updates, and superior materials with time-honoured technique, the brand has become a leading name in premium footwear, worn by discerning men around the world.
