The mill is renowned for its wide range of sophisticated suiting cloths, including superfine pure wools from Super 120's to Super 170's, as well as precious blends combining wool with silk, cashmere, mohair, and linen. Proudly remaining independent, E. Founded in 1910 by Ermenegildo Zegna in the mountain town of Trivero in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna is widely regarded as one of the world's finest wool mills. Zegna pioneered the sourcing of superfine Australian Merino wool and has long set the global standard for luxury suiting cloth.
