The dress boot that works with a suit and a pair of jeans in the same week: a Chelsea cut clean and low at the ankle, with no laces to slow the morning down. The upper is Australian yearling, a fine-grained leather from young cattle that is softer than standard calf and takes a deep shine.

The studded rubber sole grips a wet footpath and resists oil underfoot. Goodyear welting stitches the upper to the welt rather than gluing it, so the boots can be resoled and kept going for years instead of replaced. 

Elastic sides and a pull tab make them quick to get on, and they settle into the shape of your foot after a short break-in across the ball. The F fit is a standard width, so take your usual size.
