The shoe a good suit deserves, built to be repaired rather than replaced. The upper is full-grain box calf, a smooth, firm leather that takes a deep shine and creases finely rather than folding, so it looks better in its third year than its first.
The leather sole keeps the slim line and the sound of a proper dress shoe, with rubber set into the forepart for grip where the foot lands. Goodyear welting stitches the upper to the welt rather than gluing it, which means the sole can be replaced when it wears through and the shoe kept going for years.
Expect a short break-in across the ball of the foot, after which the leather settles into the shape of your stride. The F fit is a standard width, so take your usual size.
